The Goblin
Students in 2R read the description of the goblin from the narrative by Archanaa, Divya & Harini. They then used ArtRage to create images from the visuals in their heads onto the page.

"He wore a very shaggy and foul singlet that looked strangely like a piece of cloth with two extra strings added to it. His wrinkly fingers were very long and his watery eyes seemed to bulge. His sandals looked worn and were extremely dirty. He smelled of rotten eggs and slime."

Word Clouds
|
Each student in KR was given the descriptive passage about Akbar. They used the highlighting tool in Word to mark the HFW (high frequency word) that they knew.
|
Words unfamiliar to students in 3/4D & 3D from the narratives were transformed into Word Clouds. Students chose from a variety of word cloud generators. The definitions of the words were discussed & examples given to clarify any misinterpretation of usage.

Game of Maths:
Students from 5/6W created Math games which were sent to students at SPS to evaluate. The criteria outlined to students at SPS was playability (ease of understanding: rules, board setout, questions & of course the fun factor). All students reported that the games met all outlined criteria. They commented that they could see the time, effort & detail that GPS students had put into their games to create a quality product. Above all they had fun playing and appreciated that the questions were written to provide accessibilty to all levels. The students of SPS were keen to keep the games in the lab for wet weather & early finishers resources. Thanks students of 5/6W.
